Sanitary Mattress Co., which specializes in selling mattresses with special dimensions (such as those for antique beds, campers and motor homes), has just become an Eastman House Mattress licensee. By virtue of this deal, Sanitary Mattress is eligible to sell Eastman Mattresses in six states — Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Missouri.

Even while still a protype, InventHelp® intends to push their “Mobile Bed” to interested companies. Said to cater to outdoor enthusiasts, the Mobile bed is in fact an inflatable mattress with more than the usual features.

InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Lompoc, CA, has designed an inflatable mattress and awning device for pickup trucks. This invention is patented.

The “Mobile Bed” could be ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The device would rest on the bed of a pickup truck, which could offer alternative shelter to pitching a tent. The inflatable mattress and awning could supply the user with a protected and comfortable sleeping surface up off of the ground. Poles could be extended for use as a day shade off of the vehicle.

The Mobile Bed would consist of an inflatable rubber mattress and waterproof canvas awning. Stakes would support and stabilize the awning over the truck bed. The unit would feature a zipper, hook-and-loop fastener or nylon fastener strips to secure the door flaps. The product would be producible in a variety of colors and sizes. Accessories would be sold separately.

New Classic Sleep Products from Dormia, priced at $699-$1,599 are unveiling at this week’s Las Vegas Market, suprisingly after the company has filed for bankruptcy only recently.

The new collection is said to made of “premium European biodegradable Lyocell cover” and visco elastic memory foam.

The company has named the new line as Classic (8 inches), Ultra (10 inches) and Celebration (14 inches) and is of the compressed type, to save on shipping cost.

Other than this, the company is also introducing a new line of thermo-regulating eco friendly mattresses.
