Well, most people prefer a mattress overlay made of fabric but an air mattress overlay sometimes do just fine. In fact it may even work better. As the air mattress is made of vinyl material, one can easily wipe it clean with cloth. It is ultra comfortable, and the straps make sure that it fits securely in place.  When not used as topper, you may bring this during campings or become extra bedding for a visiting relative.
