Cloud Bed

Courtney Skott, the designer of this modern-day Cloud Bed, found inspiration for this from the canopy beds of the Ming Dynasty era. She then added her modern touch by putting those “clouds” based on the photographs she took while vacationing in Patagonia.
This one of a kind bed is sold for $18,000. And you can see how much planning and preparation went into this via the designer’s website.

Uffizi Bunk Bed
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 23rd, 2007 in MATTRESS Frame, MATTRESS Kids, MATTRESS Shopping.
This architectural piece is actually a bunk bed built for children but its design looks too modern for a kid’s room, doesn’t it? But the makers of this bed, Argington, premiere children’s furniture manufacturer, know what they have done.
Kids will love the cantilevers, semi-enclosed lower bunk, and window like openings. You may select different finishes for different parts of the bed giving you the opportunity to suit your own style. The Argington Fuji toy box would also be an excellent addition at the foot of the bed to provide additional storage needs.
Product Feature:
- Made from sustainable hard wood and birch ply. All finishes are 100% nontoxic.
- Lower bunk is low to the ground for easier access for youngsters
- Both upper and lower bunks can accommodate up to but may not exceed an 8” mattress
- Bunk bed can convert to a loft bed with youth desk underneath, and the lower bunk can also be repositioned
- Exceeds all CPSC and ASTM safety standards
- The CPSC recommends that the upper bunk should be used by children ages 6 and up
- Finishes available for bed supports and ladder are white and walnut, and finishes available for bed frames and guard rails are natural birch, white, and walnut

The Pet Cave

This oddly shaped piece is a sleeping space for your pets, believe it or not!
Lulu’s Hideaway is a modern interpretation of a pet house. The Hideaway exudes style with its angular lines and contrasting gloss white exterior and rich purple interior and mattress.
I wonder how one gets to fit and remove the mattress inside this thing?
