Bedtime Stories

I think that this is a great idea, especially for a child’s bedroom. And even some adults would probably want one for their beds too! I know I do.
Once upon a time there was a blanket. This blanket had several sheets containing a traditional bedtime story. Each “page” adds a layer of linen making you warmer and comfier hopefully guiding you into a pleasant night’s sleep.
The sheets are designed by Tiago da Fonseca.

For just $200 this Backbed Air Mattress is great for weekend guests who don’t have to be stuck sleeping on your couch. It’s designed with flex coil construction, a mechanism that allows the sleeper to keep the air mattress at an angle, while reading or TV watching.
With a built-in Insta III pump that pushes the air in and out, the bed can be installed in under four minutes, so it’s fast and really convenient.
When not in use, the air mattress can be stored in a nylon bag.

Let your bed hang!

Pictures are hanged on the wall. So are paintings. How about a bed or mattress? Well, if you’re looking for a bed frame and you find yourself tired of the usual designs out there — platform, four-poster, sleigh beds — might I suggest hanging your bed instead? Clearly, this is unusual. But that could be very intersting.
Designed by Francois Laine, the Startus “flying bed” is hanged or folded up from the ceiling when you’re not using your bed. It’s actually quite a space-saver. And you’re not to worry though, it’s won’t come down crashing on you. The fixture and attachments are lighweight but durable. No clue on the price tag though.

The 12 Feet Wide Bed

How many persons can actually sleep in a bed this big? For that matter, how big should a bedroom be to fit this bed into it? Measuring 12 ft by 10 ft, the Extreme Ultra King, made by one of USA’s luxury mattress makers, is perhaps a record holder. Constructed with extra-dense coil, latex mattress and lamb’s wool for supersized comfort, the bed must be assembled inside the room. There is also a selection of custom-made 600 thread count linens, to cover up the mattress.
And then of course, the price is also supersized, with this bed selling in five figured amounts.

Focus on sofa beds
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 29th, 2007 in MATTRESS Accessories, MATTRESS News, MATTRESS Tips.
Have you ever tried sleeping on a bad sofa bed? Then you would understand why choosing one with high quality is important.
Sure, sofa beds are used but once in a while. Usually, they are only taken out when extra bedding is needed for guests. It doesn’t seem to make sense in investing one with high quality. As such, sofa beds have such terrible reputation. I’m sure you don’t relish sleeping on it yourself. But if you are the guest of the house, you would expect to sleep in a warm and comfortable bed, yes? Providing the best sleeping area for your guests is what every good hosts do.
You can actually have any type of sofa bed but the secret is in the sofa bed mattress. It’s cheaper to invest in the mattress rather than the whole sofa bed. Visit mattress stores, shop around and inquire from the salespeople and you will find a good number of choices that will fit your preference.
